The Finance Department has released its first Popular Annual Financial Report.

The publication serves as the “Reader’s Digest” version of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). This report conveys a simplified, more comprehensible format for understanding the city’s annual finances. All information in this report can be found in greater detail in the comprehensive report. Publishing the popular report represents another indication of the City’s commitment to financial transparency and accountability.

The CAFR was prepared in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and was independently audited by the city’s external auditor. The audit received an unmodified opinion, the most favorable audit opinion an entity can receive.
