Glade Road Phase II construction, from Colleyville Boulevard (SH26) to Pool Road, is expected to begin this Monday, October 5. As with any construction project, we do anticipate inconveniences. Traffic will be one-way at times. Message boards will be utilized to notify the traveling public of the upcoming project and will be updated, as needed.

Major improvements through the corridor include:

• A roundabout at Riverwalk Drive
• Lowering Bluebonnet Drive while removing the stop signs for east/west-bound traffic; left turn lane will be added for eastbound traffic
• Strategic left turn lane pockets at certain locations to reduce the stacking of traffic
• Addition of curb and gutter and/or ribbon curbs with open channel ditches and drop inlets
• Realignment of the Bedford Road intersection to improve sight visibility
• Drainage improvements including the addition of an engineered Storm Drainage System
• Sidewalks and/or trails will be added throughout the corridor
• A crosswalk will be added near the Senior Center
