Tarrant County Public Health tested two mosquito samples in the city of Colleyville that returned positive for West Nile Virus on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016. The samples were taken from the 2500 block of Glade Road and the 300 block of LD Lockett Road.
Crews will treat the areas with larvicide and will conduct targeted fogging in the area this week. The city is notifying residents within a quarter-mile of the positive test sites via CodeRED. City staff will leave a door-hanger notification prior to the start of fogging for residences near the treatment areas.
