Tarrant County has notified the City of Colleyville on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 of a positive test result for West Nile virus in 3 of the 6 submitted mosquito samples for the week of September 9, 2021.  The samples that tested positive for West Nile virus were taken from vicinity of 3200 Scarborough, 240 McDonwell School Rd, and 5200 Bransford Rd. This is the 12th sample that has tested positive for West Nile virus in 2021.

The test site will be treated with larvicide and is scheduled for continued treatment and testing. Residents within a quarter-mile area of the sample areas are in the process of being notified by CodeRED.
