Colleyville Parks and Recreation is excited to host another incredible summer of camps and programs in 2026! Our upcoming camps are designed to keep kids active, curious, and engaged all summer long. From sports and arts to STEM activities and more, there’s something for every interest, with options available for ages 2 through 15.

Master Mini Chef - All American Bites

Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with a week of hands-on kitchen fun! Young chefs will mix, stir, and decorate their way through a flavorful journey that celebrates our country’s farms, favorite foods, and festive traditions. Each day features easy, safe recipes, pretend play, and patriotic flair, all designed just for preschool and kindergarten campers. America’s Delicious Bounty: Exploring Our Nation’s Foods

From coast to coast, young chefs will explore the stories, flavors, and fun of America’s diverse food culture! Each day, campers “travel” to a new region, cooking iconic dishes, discovering local ingredients, and celebrating the farmers and food producers who feed our nation. Abrakadoodle Anime Camp 

Get ready for super fun at Abrakadoodle Anime and learn the Japanese art of animation. Learn about the basics of head and facial features plus body shapes, hands and feet, animal anime, and more. Use our guidebook to help take you through the steps to creating your own anime characters. You will learn Japanese games and listen to Japanese folktales. Let’s make some remarkable art! Evolution Academy Soccer Skills Camp

Join us for this week-long soccer camp for players born 2016 to 2021. Open to all players, especially those involved in or interested in academy soccer. This camp will be a fun and intense introduction to Evolution Academy. Players will work on balance and coordination, techniques for dribbling, passing, shooting, and defending, with scrimmages and skills challenges, and capped off by the popular small-sided World Cup competition. There will be a separate section for 5 and under players in the two-hour mini camp. Junior Police Academy

The Colleyville Police Department’s Junior Police Academy is a hands-on, week-long program designed to introduce middle school students to the fundamentals of law enforcement and public safety. Participants will develop leadership, communication, and observation skills while gaining firsthand experience with many of the duties performed by local police officers. Activities may include handcuffing techniques, building searches, traffic stops, SWAT operations, drone demonstrations, CPR, and self-defense instruction. The academy is led by Colleyville police officers and includes presentations and activities from partnering outside agencies.

If you are interested in this class, please contact Officer Amy Beregszaszy at aberegszaszy@colleyville.com or 817.305.4907. A written recommendation letter from a school official (teacher, principal, etc.) or community leader (coach, pastor, etc.), along with a completed parental permission slip, is required prior to registration. Space is limited, and first-time attendees will be given priority.

Mega Machines Robotics (AM)

Big builds. Big ideas! In Snapology's Mega Machines Robotics camp, students explore the fundamentals of robotics and engineering while building vehicles and machines alongside their peers. Working in pairs, campers learn how motors, sensors, gears, and programming work together to power robotic creations. Click here to register.

Mining and Building (PM)

From the virtual 2D world of Minecraft to the physical realm of this reality, your child will practice their creativity and construction skills using the themes they know and love. As much fun as worldbuilding is in Minecraft with unlimited resources, the restrictions and challenges posed will have campers thinking of Minecraft and construction in new ways. Not only do we embrace the game’s ability to educate students about core concepts, we use it to creatively build on engineering concepts using LEGO first. Click here to register.

Mega Machines Robotics and Mining and Building (Full Day)

Make it a full day of learning and fun! Our full day camps combine a morning camp and an afternoon camp into one enriching, all-day experience. Campers enjoy two unique Snapology programs with a supervised lunch break in between, including time for passive play and brain breaks to recharge. Click here to register.

Fire Camp

Instructed by Colleyville firefighters, campers get hands-on experience practicing the skills required to be a firefighter. Campers learn CPR, first aid, and how to use a fire extinguisher, as well as participate in fun firefighter activities like fire hose relays, using the jaws of life, and rappelling. Fishing Camp

Fishing Camp is an unforgettable experience that leaves you hooked on old school fun! Our camp caters to all skill levels, offering hands-on experiences in knot tying, lure exploration, live bait techniques, and casting clinics. Evolution Soccer Select and Pre-Select Camp

This camp is for players who are gearing up for Select soccer tryouts this summer. Field players and goalkeepers born from 2011 to 2016 are welcome. The structured daily curriculum covers dribbling, passing, shooting, and defending. Goalkeepers will work on shot stopping, reactions, crosses and long balls, scrimmage situations, and tactics. Case studies during the daily lunch break and small-sided games afterward. Start your morning the B.E.S.T. way with our action-packed multi-sport camp. Campers are grouped by age to ensure appropriate instruction and tons of fun. This outdoor-focused morning session features high-energy, recess-style games that keep kids moving and engaged. Campers can expect favorites like kickball, capture the flag, soccer golf, relay races, tag games, and creative team competitions. While the atmosphere is playful and energetic, coaches naturally incorporate skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship into every activity. Multi-Sport Indoor Summer Camp (PM)

Spend your afternoon developing skills and having fun at our multi-sport indoor camp. Campers are grouped by age to provide appropriate instruction and maximize participation. This gym-based session focuses on sport-specific development through basketball, soccer, volleyball, baseball, football, Newcomb, and more. Coaches lead engaging drills, skill stations, and small-sided scrimmages that emphasize fundamentals, teamwork, and confidence-building; all in a supportive, no-pressure environment. Step into the kitchen and experience life behind the counter! Each day, young chefs will “open” a new kind of restaurant—from a neighborhood bakery to a food truck, a cozy bistro, and a gourmet fine dining spot. Campers will shop for ingredients, cook, plate, and serve their creations while learning real culinary skills and restaurant teamwork! Wild, Wild West Art Camp

Join Abrakadoodle in the Wild, Wild West for a rootin’ tootin’ doodlin’ good time! We will create a pair of cowboy boots, wrangle a rattlesnake, have a powwow with the Native Americans, and create an art adventure you won’t want to miss. We will play games, listen, and sing along to music plus tell campfire stories while on the trail. Get ready for cowpoke fun in Abrakadoodle’s Wild, Wild West! The Letter M rules in this Abrakadoodle camp. We’ll Mix colors, explore pearl-like Mediums, and design special effects to create fun and shimmering art. We’ll Mold Modeling compounds and Make butterflies and other insects. We’ll Make our own cutouts like Matisse. We’ll learn the Mechanics of the art of Marbleizing and more! Adventures in Art

Your young artist will create beautiful spring landscapes, seascapes, still lives, and animals under the inspiring guidance of a professional, award-winning Robert Garden Certified Instructor. They will learn real fine art techniques and creative thinking, not simple crafts, while mastering four different mediums: watercolor, acrylics, oil pastel, and charcoal, completing eight finished paintings and drawings. This is our classic Make a Movie program but as a week-long summer camp! Students go behind the scenes as they learn how to make their own short films. We offer a structured curriculum which builds a multitude of skills through carefully designed challenges. GPPC Ping Pong Camp

This camp provides a fun and structured introduction to ping pong for players of all skill levels. Participants will develop fundamental skills including serving, rallying, and footwork through guided instruction and practice. Flag Football Camp

This camp is a combination of a quarterback and receiver skills clinic and a traditional flag football program. During the four sessions of this program, players practice drills and movements including passing and receiving as well as defensive coverage. Join Coach Gibson and Gibson Sports Lab for a high-energy basketball camp designed for players of all ages and skill levels. Camp competitions may include skill challenges such as free throw contests, 3-point shooting, and 1-on-1 play. Beginner Golf

This golf clinic features a fun, structured curriculum designed for young players. Campers will rotate through drills and stations to maximize time with a club in hand. Fashion Designer Camp

Design principles in the areas of sketching, color and pattern coordination, costume design, and fashion history will be applied to each camper’s personal style and portfolio. Designs come to life with beautifully patterned papers, yards and yards of ribbons, colorful sequins, glitzy jewels, glamorous feathers, and oodles of other embellishments. Campers will be grouped into “Design Teams” for a variety of fun, engaging activities such as a White Wedding Fashion Show-down. Learning STEM with Hot Wheels!  

Endless tracks and obstacle courses await every Hot Wheels car lover as they discover the world of math and physical science. What goes up must come down…or does it? Momentum, push, pull, force, and friction are just some of the concepts they will understand. Mega Loop Mayhem, Shark Cliff Hanger, Wolf Mountain, and hundreds of cars are just some of the play equipment that will have campers yearning to come each day! Survival Tactics

Wrapped in games and adventure, unique challenges await you. During survival situations, the four basic needs become shelter, water, fire, and food. By introducing basic techniques, your child will learn how to purify water, Leave No Trace camping, signal for help, first aid, search for edible food, set up shelter, learn Army chants, and more! Movie Maker STEM Lab 

Lights, camera…chain reaction! In the DS STEM Studio, campers create movie sets and stop-motion labs while uncovering animation secrets. With hands-on props, special effects, and demolition fun, they explore light, sound, and motion. Ahoy all Pirate Island Buccaneers! Come aboard to create pirate ships, colorful parrots, treasure maps, sea monsters, ship flags, doubloon necklaces, treasure chests, and more! Come experience a hands-on world of fun as you conduct a variety of scientific experiments! You will work on and take home your very own chemistry lab kit, enabling you to complete many activities! You will also make and take home some cool chemical creations! Learn all about energy and molecules and create a crazy bouncy glob from glue and some scary green slime! Come join our Minds in Motion Crime Team in this fun and interesting program! We will provide you with all the tools you need to become your very own crime scene investigator. Learn all about forensics, searching for evidence, gathering clues, and bring home your very own detective kit! Working in groups, you will conduct many science experiments in our crime lab to solve the mysteries at hand. You will learn all about fingerprinting and how to classify them and bring home your very own fingerprint classification sheet! You will also perform chemical analyses and observations working with powders, liquids, and much, much more! Be amazed at how much science plays a part in solving a crime.
